I have (recently) been studying makeup at Media Makeup Academy here in Adelaide.
My intention is to freelance and see where it takes me, basically I have no idea at the moment LOL.
I did purchase the student kit which is full of Makeup Forever (if anyone would like to see what is in the kit please let me know as I couldn't find it on the net!!!)
Although we have only carried out a few applications I have quickly learnt what my kit has lacked and built on it.
I have a really hard time parting with my makeup (to place in the kit) however after deciding it would be sheer insanity to make a Mac palette with exactly the same eye shadows in there I decided to depot and create two types of palettes, permanent (for the kit) and limited edition to keep at home. - let me know if you want to see my MAC palettes.
This theory may change over time but for now that's where we are at.... I just recently (today) depotted my permanent Mac blushes and put them into a palette also.
I must say I didn't realise how much I was going to enjoy my course however I am absolutely loving it, I feel I am gaining more confidence with "experimenting" and the teachers are so inspirational.....
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me as when I was researching makeup courses really found very little info on the net.
I'm an open book :)
